What strange weather we are experiencing in California, 105 degrees to 78 degrees in a nano- second. Jeez Louise! I guess when all is said and done, just about everything in our little world is a bit out of the norm. My sincere thanks to those that responded to my column last month, not to belabor the issue but, please note, that my column is just that, my opinion, you certainly don’t have to agree with me.

Books not foreign aid, border patrol not foreign military bases, should be more central to our government agenda.

After seeing the latest cinematic rendition of Robin Hood, I feel it is my duty to report that we are a full decade into the 21st Century and still have a special Federal Excise Tax on archery equipment.

Summer is my favorite time of year.  We swim, ski, fish, go boating, floating, play baseball, wake board, trap shoot, walk  and all the fun sun stuff.

The Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment (HIRE) Act passed back in March 2010 contained a benefit to provide some employers a payroll tax holiday.
